Paula has been working with animals just about her whole life, starting out with showing and being a member of breed clubs in the past. Her love for animals began at a very young age and has carried on through the years. Paula is in her 50's and has 3 grown male children. She owns numerous dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, horses, goats, and fish herself.

Paula started out as a cosmetologist and barber and worked in this field for 35 years successfully. When the military moved her family, she decided to leave this field and pursue her lifelong dream of working with animals. She attending Texas A & M College - Commerce and studied Animal Science and Pre-Vet. She has completed 4 years of schooling in these fields and holds an equine minor and is only a few classes away from receiving her bachelor's degree. While attending college she apprenticed under a great friend of hers in the grooming field to make sure this is where she wanted to go. After attending Texas A & M and apprenticing as a groomer, she went to school at the Texas All-Breed Grooming School located in Arlington Texas. After graduating and receiving her diploma from grooming school in January of 2019 she went to work for a grooming business located in Sulphur Springs Texas. She worked for them for a little more than a year before she decided to venture out on her own. She met with the veterinarian and owner of Sulphur River Vet Clinic where she rented a room and began her own grooming business, Fur Love Grooming. While at the vet clinic, she also received a lot of experience working as a veterinary assistant. She worked at this site from December of 2019 until July of 2022 when the vet clinic decided that they needed the room she was renting from them to expand her business. She found the perfect location to move her business to which also allowed her to expand into the boarding and daycare business.

Paula also has a lot of experience in the canine field. She has worked as a K-9 officer doing protection, patrol work, and building searches. She has shown and competed in AKC Confirmation and currently competes in AKC Rally. She has bred AKC Miniature Schnauzer and English Bulldogs in previous years but no longer breeds.

She has helped many dogs with skin and coat issues feel much better and aid in the regrowth of fur and clearer skin. Her boarding offers heated/cooled indoor kennels with immediate access to their own personal covered outdoor run. Her facility has 3 play yards where dogs can be separated according to size and temperament while being supervised, played with, and loved on.
